    SUBHANALLAH ❤️🤍❤️
Very Insightful & Informative Discussion 👌🏻👍🏻
May Allah ﷻ bless and reward you both for your efforts.

  • What is his real name before Islam

    And think why media hide

  • When an highly educated man converts to Islam it truly indicates how fundamentally insecure he his about his existence and how easily westerners r gullible, but Islam was is and will always be a violent primitive cult

  • when there is evil there also have to bee good, while Allah created everything in pair. When you stand in the darkness the light accur clear to you.

  • God was a Human discovery.
    God didn't discover human's.

Your judgement can't have just your rules of your God that you say is different than everyone else beliefs.

  • Atheism is saoul’s seek!!

  • Very good discussion also invite Dr Zakir Naik about Atheist topic he had many debates with Atheist will be good discussion too

  • MashaAllah top notch, I vote the two of you as leaders of the Muslim world

  • that's because there is a day of judgement,
every facility given to humans will be questioned,
our intelligence – humans organ facilities – wealth holders – etc..
those who get a reward from Allah are those who are patient in the struggle to survive until the day of determination of heaven and hell hoping for wisdom and the glory of Allah Subhanawataala.
Heaven is the best place of final rest and hell is the worst place of final rest.

Allah created the limitations of His creatures, whoever relies on His creatures, suffering for the creatures themselves, whoever relies on Allah they are the lucky creatures.

Those who are in hell or heaven definitely DESERVE to get it, and some of the signs of that worthiness can be seen in this world.

  • R K

    Watched 1 hour of it

  • Ma Sha Allah all well said but on the point that ones' who haven't heard of Islam will go to Jannah isn't exactly correct since in today's day and age everyone knows about Islam even the Indians living in deep down forests.. for instance there are people who are totally unknown from the world and they are not aware of Islam even then on the day of judgement they will be asked about their Creator and if their belief would be on One God then they'll go to Jannah otherwise Hell since believing in One God is in our fitrah and changing the fitrah is a man's personal doing.. and those who were presented with wrong Islam won't go to Jannah since Allah will ask them why didn't you use your own mind and researched about it

  • Thank you. I hope this discussion helps any atheist listening in. Belief in the Creator is logical and helps us to live a better life. Where do atheists get their sense of morals and justice. Of course from religion.

  • Atheism strategy is i dont know, i dont beleive , i dont understand, i dont have.i dont think so,

  • thank you Paul and abdullah,
see how palestinian, kashmiri people and so..facing theire sufring by saying Alhamdollillah.

  • NP

This is a wonderful discussion, neatly structured. I listened to a few months back. I am back here to listen again.

  • Swedish convert .. welcome home

  • Thanks for the great discussion. I'd appreciate trying to simplify the language to make things easy to follow.

  • Very natural and easy to understand explanation, compatible with the villager to the throne, layman to the erudite. The wisdoms behind suffering far outweigh the harms, if only people knew.

  • A fascinating discussion and some excellent points made here. May Allah give us success in this life and the next.

  • Read the Surat El Kahf (Chapter 18, from verses 71 to 82), and it will clarify that everything (even if seems bad) has a very MERCIFUL reason and wisdom behind it…

This part of the Quran is unique, and clears the fog Elhamdulillah

  • Alhamdulillah I watched this video while my left ear is swelling and is in really bad shape. I only pray to Allah to cleanse me from my sins rather than the disease. I’m getting very greedy to get as much forgiveness from Allah as I can despite my worst habits.

  • He is not a Swedish convert to Islam, He is a Muslim from Sweden that's what his name means. Paul Williams is obsessed with his own Christian and convert past.

  • T.V INTERVIEW WITH SIR DAVID ATTENBOTOUGH.
David Attenborough: "" When people want to give God the credit, they nearly they nearly take the example of butterflies or humming birds or orchids or something lovely. But I think of a little boy sitting on the bank in West Africa with a worm that is boring through his eyeball and which would certainly turn him blind within a few years. Now the God whom you say created every single species presumably must have created that worm. I don
't find that compatible with the notion of God being a merciful creator God."" End of quote.
    Any reader care to comment?

  • they lose me with Allah as punishing and vengeful. too human

  • WHY HAS'NT STEPHEN FRY'S QUESTIONS BEEN ANSWERED.??
Stephen Fry's questions remain unanswered as do mine. We both ask the same questions.
Stephen was interviewed on Irish television. Sadly, the interviewer Gay Byrne is no longer with us. This was the question Syephen was asked.
""Suppose what Oscar believed(he was referring to the Irish writer) as he died, in spite of all of your protestations , suppose its all true and you walk up to the pearly gates and are confronted by God, what will Stephen Fry say to Him, Her or It? He did say a lot in response but he did say he would ask 2 questions. He said he would say to God
"" Bone cancer in children—'whats that about""?
He also said he would ask God about insects "" whose whole life cycle is to burrow into the eyes of children and make them blind. Why? Why would you do that? You could have easily made a creation in which that didn't exist."" End of quote.
Now 60 years ago when I was a Catholic child in Ireland and I asked these 2 questions, I would be told things like "" Ah, sure all those poor little children will be so happy in Heaven, that they will forget their sufferings on earth". That of course is a stupid answer to the questions. No wonder millions of Catholics have left the faith. And no wonder that millions of Muslims are leaving the faith.
BTW, Stephen Frys interview is on u tube.

  • I am grateful to both of you to express what I believe in clear terms.
    1. The concept of God in Islam is different from the one preached by other faith. The God of Islam is good but just. I think the word justice is mentioned some forty times in the Qur'an..
Life on earth is but illusion and ephemeral while true life in Islam starts in the Hereafter..
    3. If life was but all enjoyable here of what use would Paradise be.?
    4. Theodicy is thus not a problem for us, Muslims because we do not seek enjoyment here but there.

  • I am an agnostic. I would like to quote the late great philosopher and mathematician Bertrand Russel.
Quote "" WILLIAM JAMES USED TO PREACH ""THE WILL TO BELIEVE"" NONE OF OUR BELIEFS ARE QUITE TRUE, ALL HAVE AT LEAST A PENUMBRA OF DOUBT AND ERROR. WHAT IS WANTED IS NOT THE WILL TO BELIEVE BUT THE WILL TO FIND OUT"". End of quote.
    As an agnostic I say
    AMEN TO THAT.

  • Is the eye a product of intelligent design? Ask Dr. Julian Barnfield. He has worked as a surgeon and anatomist. He asks the question ""So tell me as a believer, do you wear glasses"?
He talks about various afflictions the "intelligently designed"" eye suffer from
Glaucoma, cataracts, muscular degeneration, retinal vein thrombosis.
He then talks about his own eye affliction. "" Retinal vein thrombosis the condition that requires me to attend hospital every 3 months for intra ocular injections. The eye is that perfect—- yea right.
As is the lumbar spine until you get lumbago or sciata. As is the heart until you get angina, the foot until you get bunions. And don't get me started on the brain, not when we have a world run by psychotics and psychopaths"". End of quote.

  • If its obvious that looking at the cosmos, we can see visible signs for God's existence, then why does the cocmologist Professor Salman Hameed ( who is Muslim) say in 2019
and I quote "" I don't think cosmology can inform whether there is a God..ot not. It from your own personnel beliefs" End of quote.

  • IS GOD RESPONSIBLE FOR EVIL?

  • QUESTIONS
I would like to quote what Dr. Abdulla said on blogging. I must add that I am in no way impugning Dr.Abdullahs academic record. He is clearly a well read and intelligent scholar. I wouldlike to quote what he says.
"" If they the evidences and all of the signs of all the things that point to a Creator, how can we expect then that they will see the wisdoms of the Creator"". End of quote.
When we look around the cosmos, what explanation best fits the data? Does it show that you have an allpowerfull God who is loving and cares for humanity?Dr Neil deGrace Tyson astrophysicist says and I quote" Most planets orbits are unstable, Most places kill. Look at the volume of the universe where you can't live."" He talks about the earth "" volcanos, tsunamis, floods, hurricanes. You can't live on 2/3 of its surface. Freeze or starve on 1/2 of what remains. 99/cent of all that have lived are now extinct. It took 3—5 billions years to make multicellular life. 75per cent of water on planet is undrinkable.
Dr.Tyson says and I quote ""None of this is a sign that there is a benevolent anything out there" End of quote.
He also says and I quote ""Its hardly an efficient plan with us in mind"".End of quote. So the question is WHERE ARE THE SIGNS FOR THE EXISTENCE OF AN ALL POWERFUL GOD WHO IS LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE?

  • I would like to quote from George Carling video which is available on u tube. He was IrishAmerican. We share a number of things in common. His father was Irish and he was born into a Catholic family. He achieved greatness in America as a comedian and I am sure he is sorely missed
I will quote his u tube video. "" I tried to believe in God. I really tried. I tried to believein a God who created each one of us. But I got to tell you the longer you live, the more you look around , the more you realize something is fucked up.
——–war, disease, death, destruction, hunger, poverty, torture, crime ,corruption
Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, then I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong in the resume of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of shit you would expect from an office temp with a bad attitude..Between you and me in any decently run universe, this guy would be out on his all powerful ass a long time ago.And by the way, I say ""This guy"" because I firmly believe looking at these results that if there is a God, it has to be a man. No women could or ever would fuck things like this:". End of quote.

  • PROFESSOR SALMAN HAMEED.
Any one who loves Truth should listen to Professor Hameeds TED talk
    ""When evidence is powerless".
He is a cosmologist. He is also Muslim.

  • My favorite interview so far this year; amazing questions and discussion. May Allah reward you both.

  • QUESTION FOR MUSLIMS.
I AM AGNOSTIC. I AM NOT DISPUTING THAT DR. ABDULLAH IS A WELL READ AND INTELLIGENT SCHOLAR. HOWEVER I HAVE A QUESTION.
DR. ABDULLA IN REFERRING TO ATHEISTS AND AGNOSTIC SAYS
"" IF THEY CANT SEE THE EVIDENCES AND ALL OF THE SIGNS OF ALL THE THINGS THAT POINT TO A CREATOR, HOW CAN WE EXPECT THEM THEN THAT THEY WILL SEE THE WISDOMS OF THE CREATOR"" END OF QUOTE.
THIS IS WHAT PROFESSOR SALMAN HAMID SAID IN 2019. PROFESSOR HAMID IS A COSMOLOGIST AT HAMPSHIRE COLLEGE U.S.A.HIS RESEARCH INTEREST IS HOW STARS FORM GALAXIES.
THIS IS WHAT HE SAID IN 2019 "" I DONT THINK COSMOLOGY CAN INFORM WHETHER THERE IS A GOD OR NOT. IT COMES FROM YOUR OWN PERSONEL BELIEFS."". WHEN DR. ABDULLAH SAYS TALKS ABOUT ALL OF THE SIGNS THAT POINT TO A CREATOR
WHAT SIGNS IS HE TALKING ABOUT?
BTW, I FORGOT TO ADD THAT PROFESSOR HAMEED IS A MUSLIM. HE GIVES TALKS TO MUSLIMS 9N SCIENCE AND ISLAM.

  • I would like to quote from the late great irish american comedian George Carling. We have a number of things in common. His father was irish. So was mine. He was born into a Catholic family. So was I. The comments he makes about religion are taken from his u tube video. This is what he says
"" I tried to believe in God, I really tried.i tried to believe in a God who created each one of us. Food for thought folks.

  • IF ANYBODY CAN FIND EVIDENCE OF A DESIGNED UNIVERSE, CAN THEY PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

  • Thank you, Paul, for discussing this topic. When speaking about suffering, we should remember the suffering we cause ourselves and each other due to our own selfish, hasty, weak and fearful nature. We cannot always lay the cause of suffering at God's door; Satan, too, accuses God of leading him astray. We should remain mindful of our own arrogance and blindness.
Muslims have always understood the fundamental need for suffering and the essential role it plays in the purification of the soul. From suffering we learn to know our selves, learn humility, develop patience and empathy, and embrace creativity and problem solving. Most importantly, suffering rewards us by sweetening prayer and unburdening us (we are utterly reliant on God). So that even when ease comes, we remain mindful of God.

The answer to “where is the happiness in Islam and why all the suffering” . Dr. Iyad Qunaibi. I would recommend having him on your channel.

  • IS'NT IT TRUE TO SAY THAT EVIL/SUFFERING POSE A FAR FAR GREATER PROBLEM FOR ABRAHAMIC THEISTS THAN FOR ATHEISTS?
Let me introduce myself. I am Not an atheist. I am agnostic. Let me also state that I am Not saying because evil and suffering exist therefore God does not exist. WHAT I am saying is that I do not see sufficient evidence for the existence of the Abrahamic God
——- A God who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnibenevolent. As I see it it is far easier to logically reconcile suffering in a godless world than to believe in a omnipotent, omniscient omnibenovelent God who allows such appaling suffering in the world. The purpose of my presentation is to ask questions, not to debate. But u would also like intelligent logical, rational answers to my questions. I was brought up Catholic. So I don't want answers based on religious dogma.Like I said, I want intelligent, logical rational answers. As my questions will be rather long, I will have to subdivide my reply. I will be back in a mo.

  • Hi Paul if you can arrange a video call with Dr Zakir Naik that would be great. As he is the the expert on this topic.
I'm posting one of his video as reference:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEcocSZnk1g

  • "exquisitely developed nervous system." OH yes, this why Fibromyalgia exists — a malfunction of the nervous system. You both are clowns.

  • Do not forget the 'hand of man' that cause suffering: wars genocides, deforestation, famine, sickness, greed, etc Man is given free will. When he chooses to do evil we human beings suffer the consequences

  • MashaAllah great discussion

  • Z R

So this is a good response to Ehrman…..

    But we can do better….

Why do I say we can do better….. ( and I totally apologize for being an armchair critic)

But We can do better….. because we take so much for granted….. Assuming lots of things to be obvious…..

And some of Ehrmans questions, actually 90% are really in this range… And I believe we are almost bewildered by them because no one has asked us these questions in a long time ( sometimes ….not even kids…. They tend to have filled in the gaps at some point as they were growing up)

For instances the generally accepted Islamic narrative is that there were 124 thousand prophets…and 'never did we leave a people except that we sent a guide from amongst them ….'

So Ehrman as well as other Atheists ask these questions ….. Like people have been around for perhaps 100 thousand years …. And then in the last 5 thousand years God became interested in them and sent them prophets…. And they complain about all the rest or the people who received no gudence…. Or people in other parts of the world…..

Do they all go to hell forever…… ? Is that not unjust….

So there is a base almost diagrammatic response needed ….. To fill in many simple gaps which we have easy answers to…..

Then the last 10 % is an intelectual explaination …. Something to draw deeply on….

I think we almost always dismiss the obvious then go on to talk about that 10 %…..

When we should really try and clarify all those simple questions…. Then…. Worry about the last 10%

I hope that makes some sense….. And is constructive criticism…..

  • Thank you bro Paul for all yr efforts. May Allah reward you duniya akherat!

  • Ma shaa Allah … I am really happy to hear Dr Abdullah .. may Allah increase his knowledge and make it beneficial to all

The ayah that Dr Abdullah mentioned is from Surah al-Alaq (Q-96)
    كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ (6) أَن رَّآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ (7)

    (6) No! [But] indeed, man transgresses
    (7) Because he sees himself self-sufficient

  • Mr. Paul Williams, please make an interview with Mr. Christian Prince..!
